If he was hacked, maybe the hacker just threw away some of the stuff but not all of it to mess with his mind.

Until I see proof its a keylogger... I will believe the guy sometimes strange things happen. Hijack This or Spyware Doctor Full Scan on your computer and post your logs.

most likely a freind or guildmate messing with you, I have a bunch of real life buddys who play guildwars. One day after some beer they took half of there brothers armor(the 2 parts with 90k absurb and 45k vigor) and a chaos axe. and put it on there account, then just waited for him to log in....

you cant trash a bag unless its empty. you cant move a bag into inventory unless its empty. and yes shit disapears every so often. one of my storage chars lost 2 bags. had a ton of items in it, and poof it was gone. you dont have to be hacked or keylogged the game just forgot you had it. oh and support wont do a damn thing. you can tell em but you wont get your stuff back.

Mystery solved:
Quote:
It is found that the neutrino loss reduces the lifetime of the carbon-burning phase at least by a factor of 30. By reference to the preceding study of the gravitational contraction phase, the lifetime of an ordinary star of 15.6M\odot as a red supergiant is obtained. The time of evolution without neutrino loss is consistent with the observed numbers of red supergiants in the star clusters, h+χ Persei and NGC 330, but the evolution with neutrinos is faster by a factor of 20. Finally, discussions are made of the effects of rotation, helium flicker and mass loss on the lifetime. It seems unlikely that these effects are large enough to increase the lifetime by a factor as large as 20.
|
To paraphrase:
Over time things disappear into nothingness due to neutrino loss. If it can happen to a star, it certainly can happen to a bag, eh?

Sorry to hear but this is weird. Maybe it was a hacker but you logged on before he could do too much damage. Ive also lost a rare weapon only to find it on a hero. Do you have a 2nd acount you could have transferred it too? My guess, t was deleted by the error.

From Wikipedia:
"Keystroke logging (often called keylogging) is a diagnostic used in software development that captures the user's keystrokes. It can be useful to determine sources of error in computer systems and is sometimes used to measure employee productivity on certain clerical tasks. Such systems are also highly useful for law enforcement and espionage—for instance, providing a means to obtain passwords or encryption keys and thus bypassing other security measures. However, keyloggers are widely available on the internet and can be used by anyone for the same purposes."
You can read more about it here.
